Excellency Services is the India's largest legalisation (consular) agent, operating from offices at Mumbai and New Delhi City. We were established in 1998, providing primarily a certification and legalisation service to exporters. We provide our clients with a complete export documentation service for both commercial and legal documents, including the completion of Arab certification, GSP and Certificates of Origin for manufacturers and freight forwarders.

We process Health/Radiation/Free Sale Certificates for pharmaceutical companies, preparation of corporate legal documentation for blue-chip companies and their agents, and the procurement of visas and passports for the business traveler.

We work closely with Chambers of Commerce, Consulates, Embassies and other Government departments, providing expertise in obtaining the necessary certification and legalisation for our clients on an urgent basis.
We also have our own courier company, Excellency Courier services, on-site at our Mumbai & New Delhi office which enables us to dispatch documentation and passports to addresses nationwide and overseas with the minimum of delay.

The attachment of the apostille is what legalises the document. Legalisation :- If the country from which the document emanates is not a party to the Hague Convention on Legalisation, then a more formal process of legalization is usually required. Generally in these cases the document will first be notarized by a public notary and appropriate authorities in the issuing country as proof that the document was issued by a competent official then will be presented to the destination country? embassy or consulate located in the country from which the document emanates. That embassy or consulate will then legalise the document internally, usually by affixing a special stamp or seal.
